About the project
MotionElements is a leading microstock marketplace for video makers. With over 15 million pieces of content, it offers royalty-free licensing for stock videos, music, 3D models, After Effects, Apple Motion templates, and AI prompts.
Looking for a reliable partner
The company decided to revamp the website to attract more users and increase engagement. They chose SysGears to identify the underlying issues and modernize the marketplace while ensuring its continuous operation.

High bounce rate
The marketplace’s homepage didn’t have a clear purpose statement, leaving visitors with a sense of confusion about its offerings. It also lacked a unique design style, which was especially problematic for a website aimed at creative individuals. Moreover, it wasn’t optimized for mobile devices, causing some users to exit right away.
Low conversion rate
The extensive number of steps distracted users from effectively finding the necessary products and subsequently completing their purchases. In addition, subscription and affiliate systems lacked the necessary information, resulting in issues with converting users.
Lack of product awareness
The absence of distinctive and visually highlighted categories impacted the effectiveness of product discovery, thus affecting the demand. Furthermore, the product pages lacked prioritization, and their layout was inconsistent without a cohesive structure and eye-catching elements.

UX/UI enhancement
By applying principles of visual hierarchy, our designers reorganized the home page to clearly communicate the website’s purpose. Furthermore, they visually emphasized the subscription and affiliate systems and accompanied them with comprehensive user guides to increase conversions.
User flow optimization
Our team differentiated two main user personas, contributors and buyers, and aligned their expectations, needs, and preferences with the new website design. We also streamlined user flows by reducing the number of steps to help customers achieve their goals with as few actions as possible.
Visual design
The marketplace targets video makers and motion designers, so aesthetics and convenience are crucial for attracting such users. Therefore, our team created visually appealing interfaces with unique styles for each product type, making interaction with the website simple and enjoyable.
Responsive design
To address the high bounce rate, our experts ensured a seamless experience across different devices by adapting desktop navigation to mobile. They implemented adaptive menus and touch-friendly elements, as well as incorporated media queries and fluid grids.
